Several young Claremore baseball players are headed to the Little League World Series, thanks to some big support from their community.
Last month, thunderstorms knocked over the fireworks tent that was a fundraiser for the Claremore Red Sox. They rebuilt the tent, but still didn't raise enough money to go to the series in Louisiana.
Red Sox coach, Tom Howe, "we fell a little bit short, but First bank donated a thousand dollars and Big Blast was kind enough to set up a new tent and get everything back in order."
The Claremore Red Sox are an under 8 coach pitch team. They head to Louisiana this weekend.
