A man accused of stabbing his girlfriend to death, made his first court appearance Thursday.
A Tulsa County District Court judge assigned Mark McCorkle a public defender. Tulsa Police say he called them last week from his girlfriend's apartment. They found Leslie Lamborn stabbed repeatedly.
The couple had just moved in together, two months ago. Court records show McCorkle has a history of attacking women. He'd had seven different protective orders filed against him by six different women since 1994.
