OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Police say a man has admitted to sexually assaulting 38 women, often running up behind them as they jogged and grabbing their breasts.

Erison C. Torrez, 20, is being held in the Oklahoma County Jail without bail. He was arrested June 26 after his latest victim and her uncle tracked him down, police said.

Torrez, an illegal alien from Mexico, is charged in Oklahoma County District Court with eight counts of sexual battery and one count of assault with intent to commit a felony. The charges relate to nine attacks.

Torrez told police his first victim was a 19-year-old jogger.

``He said he felt bad afterwards and waited a few months before he did it again,'' detective Kim Davis said. ``He said he has resisted a lot of urges, but thinks he has assaulted about 38 women.''

Torrez told police through an interpreter he wants help because his urges will escalate to the point where he eventually might rape someone, Davis said.

The U.S. Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration Services has a hold on Torrez to deport him back to Mexico.

Torrez was deported to Mexico in 2001, when he was in jail on charges of attempting to elude officers and traffic violations. In three months, he returned to Oklahoma City, where he has a live-in pregnant girlfriend and son. He has been in the city about two years, authorities said.

Torrez is charged with:

_ Grabbing the breast of a 19-year-old jogger on exercise trails Sept. 19 in southwest Oklahoma City.

_ Asking a 47-year-old woman the time and then fondling her breast Nov. 14.

_ Asking the time of a 32-year-old woman jogging and grabbing her breast Nov. 16.

_ Pinching a 56-year-old woman's breast as she left a Dollar General Store Nov. 17.

_ Grabbing a 26-year-old woman by the collar and pulling her to the ground as she jogged April 25, then sitting on her stomach, pulling up her shirt and bra and fondling her breast.

_ Grabbing a 19-year-old woman's throat, covering her mouth and touching her breasts on a walking trail June 23.

_ Pinning a 45-year-old woman's arms and fondling her breasts on a southwest Oklahoma City jogging trail June 24.

_ Running up behind a 46-year-old woman on a jogging trail and grabbing her breasts June 24.

_ Grabbing a 20-year-old woman, touching her breasts and other body parts on a jogging trail June 26.
