Broken Arrow's new police chief is still new on the job. But he spent part of Wednesday in jail.

Chief Todd Wuestewald was thrown in the slammer Wednesday morning, not because he had done anything wrong, though. He's trying to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

And as luck would have it, he served his time in a makeshift cell at Applebee's Restaurant hoping customers would raise enough money to bail him out. For one hour, Chief Wuestewald accepted donations and receipts from food purchases for MDA.
