A convenience store robbery in northeastern Oklahoma has ended with a police shooting and a suspect in critical condition.

Authorities say Miami Police officer Chris Leamon shot Vivon Peterson three times after he robbed a Miami convenience store Sunday night. Peterson was shot in the chest, abdomen, and leg.

A video camera mounted in the patrol car is said to show officer Leamon firing at Peterson, after he raised his pistol and pointed it at the officer.

Peterson’s weapon turned out to be a pellet gun.
