An observant witness has helped authorities arrest a suspect in a bank robbery. It happened in McAlester at the Superior Bank.

The FBI says a man wearing a hat and bandana claimed to have a weapon and demanded money. He gathered the money in a sack and left on foot.

A witness followed him to a home in McAlester and called authorities. Michael Souza was arrested after a short standoff.

Charges are pending.
