Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers will be keeping an eye on the roads this weekend.

The Patrol has kicked off its CARE program. It targets speeders, people drinking and driving, and those not wearing seatbelts.

OHP trooper Lt Brandon Kopepasah, “aggressive speeding, lane changing, following too closely all those things as well as just making sure that nobody's drinking and driving, you know those are the main things we'll be looking for.”

Last year, four people died on Oklahoma highways during the July 4th holiday weekend.
