Tulsa Fire station number 1 in downtown Tulsa will soon house only offices. Firefighters and Hazmat crews from station 1 are moving to station 6, which is also located near downtown.

Station 6 firefighters will be sent across the city as openings become available.

Fire officials say response time wonâ€™t be affected by the changes.
