Teenagers from all over Oklahoma are learning a valuable lesson this week. The First United Methodist Church in Claremore is hosting "Youth Force Oklahoma."
200 young people from across the state are teaming up to help repair people's homes in Rogers County.
Sasha Washington, Youth Force volunteer, and resident of Clinton, "We tore down a shed, we made a garden back there and we painted some trim on the house."
Gary Brooks, Youth Force volunteer and resident of Tulsa, "I'm involved because first of all its for a really good cause hopefully we are teaching the youth a good lesson that they will be able to use throughout their life as they get older to do mission work not necessarily in their own community but world wide."
Youth Force has restored hundreds of homes since the program began in 1989.
