(Kellyville-AP) -- An 11-year-old boy playing in a farm pond has drowned after jumping off a foam block.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Justin Levi Cheek died Saturday afternoon in the Creek County pond.

Searchers recovered his body in 15 feet of water after dragging the pond.

The boy was swimming with two other children on the foam block when he jumped off and went under water.

Troopers say he surfaced once, then went under again and didn't come back up.
