(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Tests to determine whether Oklahoma's system of sophisticated weather radar could detect a bioterrorist attack will begin today.

This is the second round of testing done by the Army. Army officials say data collected this round of testing will be added to the information collected during tests March 24 to April 4th.

The test will begin near Morgan Road and the Canadian River. The tests are expected to last five days.

A crop-duster is expected to drop polyethylene glycol and clay dust. The materials aren't harmful to humans.

The Army will test the capabilities of five radar systems, two belonging to the Federal Aviation Administration.

The western Oklahoma City site was chosen because of its proximity to an immobile FAA radar.

People with questions about the tests are encouraged to call the Army toll-free at (866) 223-1101.
