(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two Oklahoma City police officers are on administrative leave after shooting and killing a man early Thursday morning.

The names of the officers and the dead man were not immediately released.

Police say the officers were working undercover at a northwest Oklahoma City club when they saw a man hitting a woman.

Officers say when they tried to stop the man, he got into a van and began driving away. One officer grabbed the van and was dragged, suffering a broken arm.

Police then opened fire, killing the man.
