(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says there will be no tolerance for motorists who fail to buckle up.
Officials want to increase the number of Oklahomans who use seat belts and will begin an initiative on May 19th called ``What's Holding You Back Oklahoma? Click-it or Ticket!''
OHP Chief Gary Adams says there will be zero tolerance and no exceptions for motorists who are not wearing their seat belt.
Slightly more than 70% of Oklahomans use seat belts, up from about 47.5% in 1997. State officials want to increase the number to the national average of 75%.
