Hundreds of local American Airlines employees in Tulsa have received layoff notices. Now, those employees have some decisions to make.

The machinist's union held meetings Thursday at the Tulsa Convention Center to lay out the options. Some employees can keep their same job if they'll move to another American base, or they can bump out a lower-paying worker and stay here in Tulsa.

For Kevin Fowler, leaving town is not an option. He's worried about his family, and the ten kids on a baseball team he coaches. "If I leave for Dallas that means these kids will be without a coach, my wife will be without her husband, and my kids will be without their father."

There will be other meetings later this month, mostly for those bumped out of jobs by those with more seniority.
