(Round Rock, Texas-AP) -- D-J Houlton pitched 7-and-two-thirds innings and Anthony Acevedo knocked in three runs to lead the Round Rock Express to a 5-to-3 victory over the Tulsa Drillers.
The Express struck early with two runs in the first inning on a two-run homer to center field from Anthony Acevedo.
Round Rock added two more runs in the fourth inning. Mike Rosamond led off the inning with his first homer of the season and Acevedo picked up his third RBI of the game.
The Express made it 5-to-0 in the fifth inning, scoring a run on a wild pitch.
The Drillers got a break in the eighth when Brad Hawpe hit a three-run homer off Mike Gallo.
Houlton allowed two runs on three hits in 7 and-two-thirds innings for the win.
Scott Dohmann surrendered five runs and 13 hits over 5-and-a-third innings to take the loss.
