Inola Police arrested a 17-year-old boy in the case of shooting the owner of a convenience store and credit the News on 6 with help cracking the case.

We featured the robbery and shooting in our weekly "To Catch A Crook" report recently. Inola's police chief says the story helped them hone in on a suspect and get a positive identification from the victim, who survived the shooting.

The boy is charged with armed robbery and shooting with intent to kill.
