We've heard a variety of perspectives from veterans since the war began. 105-year-old Willie Liddell is the oldest living veteran in Oklahoma.

He fought in World War I and these days he's staying on top of coverage of the war in Iraq. “Yeah, I’ve been sitting right here by gosh till about two or three o'clock in the morning. I think our troops have been doing wonderful. They're doing all right."

During his time in the military, Liddell served in the campaign against Pancho Villa, then later in the trenches of France.
