(Weatherford-AP) -- Southwestern Oklahoma State has a new men's basketball coach.

Scott Reed takes the job after spending the past six years as an assistant at Northeastern State in Tahlequah.

The Redmen won the Division Two national championship this season.

Reed also has coached at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M and Bacone College.
