(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Governor Brad Henry has signed a bill that supporters say targets so-called ``eco-terrorists.''
The Oklahoma Family Farm Alliance and the Oklahoma Sierra Club say the bill only protects large hog farms that they say are destroying the state's rural environment.
The bill by Senator Bruce Price makes it a felony for a person to enter a site where animals are kept and disrupt the farm operation or cause damage.
Suzette Hatfield of the Farm Alliance says there is no definition of what 'disrupt' or 'damages' mean. She says a person could be prosecuted for crossing a fence to retrieve a stray cow.
Price says opponents of the measure are overreacting.
A spokesman says the governor believes the bill strikes a good balance between commerce and environmental issues.
