With the heightened state of security in the United States, police and fire crews want to be prepared in case of a terrorist retaliation here at home.
This week, a group called Rescue Training Associates is in Oklahoma to teach first responders how to react if weapons of mass destruction are ever used. The group is holding weeklong training programs all over the country.
Here in Oklahoma, they’ll stage a mock-attack at the University of Central Oklahoma in Edmond. John Holgerson with Rescue Training Associates, "It makes that more of sense of realism, be able to handle it."
135 volunteers are being used in the mock attack at OCU.
