Several Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers have been honored for their hard work.
At a special ceremony Thursday, three troopers got a big thank you for helping keep the roads safe. Michael Childress of Wagoner was honored for saving a man's life after an accident on the Muskogee Turnpike last summer.
One trooper was honored posthumously. His family accepted on his behalf.
And a Texas family credits trooper Jason Hamlon for saving their lives. He blocked traffic from crossing the I-40 Bridge when it collapsed last May.
