OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Fifteen of 17 eligible counties are taking advantage of federal money to clean up debris left from the Jan. 31, 2002, ice storm.

The cities of Cordell and Perry also are expecting financial help from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.

The $7.2 million program is being administered by the Oklahoma Conservation Commission at the request of the USDA's Natural Resource Conservation Service.

The money is to pay contractors to remove debris from around bridges, said Mike Kastl of the Conservation Commission.

The 15 counties expected to participate, with their estimated cleanup costs:

Alfalfa ($81,000), Beckham ($16,000), Blaine ($367,000), Caddo ($54,000), Canadian ($996,000), Custer ($8,000), Garfield ($1 million), Grant ($461,000), Kiowa ($89,000), Kay ($942,000), Kingfisher ($1 million), Logan ($942,000), Major ($43,000), Noble ($496,755) and Oklahoma ($366,000).

Harmon County and Washita County will not not participate, Kastl said.
