(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The Oklahoma Forestry Services Wednesday issued a Red Flag fire alert for most of Oklahoma.
The agency says warm, windy and dry conditions are creating an extreme fire danger in all but extreme southeastern Oklahoma.
Extreme caution should be used with any outdoor burning and outdoor burning should be avoided when winds are more than 20 miles per hour.
The only counties not included in the fire alert are McCurtain, LeFlore, Choctaw, Pushmataha, Latimer and Haskell, all in far southeastern Oklahoma.
