During these times of war, many of us could use some good news. And a Tulsa family got the best there is last weekend along the Broken Arrow Expressway. News on 6 reporter Patrina Adger has more on their special delivery.
Every father hopes to be there to witness the birth of their child, but very few get the chance to be the one to deliver. That's what happened when Scott McKeeman delivered his second child off the BA on Sunday. "Yea, oh the baby's head just popped out."
The proud parents got to hear the 911 call for the first time Tuesday. McMeeman was driving his wife, Mary, to the hospital after she started having contractions. Little Alexia Grace was coming quickly, so Scott had to pull over on the highway to deliver. "Basically I was there to catch-making things come out perfectly."
Mom, dad and little Alexia are doing just fine. The mother, especially considering the fact she didn't have any epidural to help with the pain.
