TAMPA, Florida (AP) _ Vincent Lecavalier scored a power-play goal to tie the game with 5:25 remaining in the third period Thursday as the Tampa Bay Lightning and New Jersey Devils played to a 2-2 draw.

New Jersey's Martin Brodeur made 31 saves, but came up short in his bid to become the first NHL goalie to win 40 games in four seasons. He has six games left.

The Southeast Division-leading Lightning are on a franchise-record 10-game unbeaten streak (6-0-4). Brad Richards also scored and Nikolai Khabibulin made 28 saves to stretch his unbeaten run to 14 starts (11-0-3).

Patrik Elias and Pascal Rheaume scored for the Atlantic Division-leading Devils. New Jersey had won four consecutive games, including three on the road.

Bruins 2, Flyers 2

In Philadelphia, Tony Amonte scored twice, including a short-handed goal with 6:49 remaining in regulation, to earn Philadelphia a tie with Boston.

Boston almost won it with 5:33 left in the third period when P.J. Axelsson hit the crossbar on his second breakaway of the period.

Defensemen Bryan Berard and Nicholas Boynton scored 1:15 apart early in the second to give the Bruins a 2-1 lead. Boston could have clinched a playoff berth with a win.

Backup goalie Steve Shields made 24 saves for Boston, including eight in overtime when Boston went without a shot.

Avalanche 3, Kings 0

In Denver, Patrick Roy made 26 saves to record his fifth shutout of the season and 66th of his career as Colorado blanked Los Angeles.

Roy also posted his 547th career win, tops in NHL history and 100 more than second-place holder Terry Sawchuk.

Dan Hinote, Rob Blake and Alex Tanguay had goals for the Avalanche, who remained in the No. 5 position in the Western Conference. Colorado has 97 points, tied with St. Louis, but the Blues have the tiebreaker advantage of more wins.

Kings goalie Cristobal Huet, making his fifth NHL start, gave up all three goals before being replaced by Jamie Storr early in the second period. Storr had 13 saves.

Blues 2, Panthers 1

In St. Louis, Doug Weight scored a power-play goal with two seconds remaining, following a too many men on the ice penalty, to give St. Louis a victory over Florida.

The infraction, called with 54 seconds remaining, was the only penalty whistled against the Panthers in the game.

The Blues are 7-3-1 in their last 11 games and have won five of their past seven. Florida has lost five straight and scored just one goal in each loss.

Eric Boguniecki gave St. Louis a 1-0 lead at 10:58 of the third period. Denis Shvidki scored a power-play goal at 13:04 to tie it.

Blackhawks 4, Predators 1

In Chicago, Andrei Nikolishin and Steve Sullivan each had a goal and an assist as Chicago snapped a four-game winless streak to beat Nashville.

Chris Simon and Mark Bell also scored for the Blackhawks, who won for only the seventh time in 32 games (7-20-3-2).

Clarke Wilm scored for Predators, whose winless slide reached 10 (0-6-3-1).

Steve Passmore made 22 saves to earn his second win in 10 games. Nashville's Tomas Vokoun also stopped 22 shots.

Flames 2, Stars 1

In Calgary, Alberta, Shean Donovan scored 2:51 into overtime to lead Calgary over Dallas.

It was the first loss since Dec. 26 for Dallas goalie Marty Turco, who was 12-0-4 in his previous 18 appearances. Included were two wins after returning from a sprained ankle that sidelined Turco for five weeks.

Scott Nichol scored his fifth goal of the season for Calgary. The Flames' lineup was bolstered by the return of leading scorer Jarome Iginla, who missed two games because of a sprained shoulder.

Ulf Dahlen also scored for Dallas, which has earned points in five straight games (3-0-0-2).

Sharks 3, Red Wings 0

In San Jose, California, Vesa Toskala made 25 saves for his first career shutout as San Jose interrupted Detroit's late-season surge.

Patrick Marleau, Mark Smith and rookie Lynn Loyns scored as San Jose won for just the fourth time in 14 games. The Red Wings lost for just the third time in 22 games since Feb. 8.

Toskala, who apparently has passed Miikka Kiprusoff as the Sharks' backup goalie of the future, gave an outstanding performance. It was just the fourth career NHL victory for the Finnish goalie.

Canucks 5, Coyotes 1

In Vancouver, British Columbia, Daniel Sedin had a goal and an assist, and Dan Cloutier returned from injury to make 24 saves as Vancouver beat Phoenix.

Canucks captain Markus Naslund became the first player to reach 100 points this season when he assisted on Ed Jovanovski's power-play goal in the third period.

Jarkko Ruutu, Trent Klatt and Matt Cooke also scored for Vancouver, which matched a 10-year-old franchise record with 101 points.

Vancouver's third win in four games also kept the Canucks four points ahead of Colorado in the Northwest Division.

Mike Johnson scored on the power play for the Coyotes.
