Saddam Hussein now has little more than a day to leave Baghdad or face war. but, wearing his military uniform on tv for the first time since the Persian Gulf war in 1991, he says he's not going anywhere. and one of his sons warns.... quote..."the wives and mothers of those americans who will fight us will weep blood, not tears."

Mohammed Aldouri - Iraqi Ambassador:There will be killing destruction, both sides. Your guys, our guys, and without reason”

The U.S. today unveiled its partners in war. 45 members make up a coalition of the willing, only 30 who are willing to say so publicly. those countries include afghanistan, el salvador, ethiopia and poland. most of the countries are not sending ground troops, but will offer other support.

Ari Fleischer - White House Spokesman in terms of actual active combat, there will be very, very few countries. In terms of providing the necessary means of basing or overflight it'll be a rather large number.

Even France may assist if Iraq uses weapons of mass destruction. the White House called the announcement - "notable".

But Russia continues to insist that a war would threaten the international coalition against terrorism. President Bush's strongest ally, Tony Blair, disagrees.

“Tony Blair/British Prime Minister:” It could hardly be more important. It will determine the pattern of international politics for the next generation.

The president is expected to address the nation again, after war breaks out...this time from the oval office. no word on when that...or the war... will happen.
