With the threat of war drawing nearer, extra security at home is expected to affect everything from the U-S borders to our food supply.
Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge outlined the national terror alert and security measures now called "Operation Liberty Shield".
Tom Ridge: "There will be increase coast guard patrols near our key petroleum and chemical facilities, and more security at facilities handling radioactive materials. We will continue to monitor the Internet for signs of a potential terrorist attack from Cyber terrorism, hacking, and state sponsored information warfare. And the dept of treasury has taken steps to protect our financial network and payment systems."
