The Muskogee school district could see more financial problems. The Oklahoma Supreme Court has ruled the state can recoup an overpayment to Muskogee Public Schools.

The district received more than $3.5-million in overpayments between 1996 and 1998 because of a computer glitch.

The Department of Education wants to recover those funds by withholding a portion of state aid to the district over a ten-year period.
