Tulsa Police want senior citizens to be on the alert about a scam artist going door to door.

Take a good look at this picture taken by a Bank of Oklahoma surveillance camera. Police say the man offers to wash home for $40, but he asks his victims to write two $20 checks. Officers say he then alters them to indicate more than $2,000.

They say he uses the name Rob Smith and drives a mid-90s black panel van. Investigators believe the man could have accomplices.
