3 Oklahomans indicted on bank robbery charges

(Muskogee-AP) -- Three men have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Muskogee on unrelated bank robbery charges.

71-year-old Kenneth Dean of McAlester is accused of trying to rob a Bancfirst in McAlester on January 9th.

Thirty-two-year-old Kevin G. Maxwell of Durant was indicted on a charge of robing the Landmark Bank in Durant on January 23rd.

And 26-year-old Miron Neil Dean of McAlester is accused of a December 27th robbery of the Bank of Oklahoma in Muskogee.

The indictments were announced by US Attorney Sheldon J. Sperling in the Eastern District of Oklahoma.
