(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Collections by the state's General Revenue Fund were down in January, but no additional budget cuts are expected.
Preliminary reports show that revenue collections in January totaled $424.4-million.
That's $42.4-million below last year's collections and $89-million less than the estimate.
The tax on natural gas exceeded the estimate for January and prior year collections, but the state's other major revenue sources _ income taxes, sales taxes and motor vehicle taxes _ were down for the month.
