(Glenpool-AP) -- The top high school running back in Oklahoma has committed to play with the Oklahoma Sooners.

Courtney Tennial of Glenpool made his commitment Tuesday.

Tennial ran for a state-record 3,426 yards this season and scored 36 touchdowns as Glenpool won the Class 4-A championship.

OU also received a commitment from blue chip lineman Carl Pendleton of Sapulpa.
