Sixteen finalists are moving ahead in Mayor LaFortune's competition for a better government. The finalists were chosen from nearly 100 entries.
The ideas came from people in all parts of Tulsa. And from just about every age group. One idea to make the cut came from a fourth grade class at McKinley Elementary School. They want citizens to sweep the streets.
The finalists now have to develop a 15-page plan with expert help. A $10,000 winner will be named April 3rd.
Three runners up will receive $1,000 each.
