(Stillwater-AP) -- Only Oklahoma State went home happy Monday night, but both Oklahoma and OSU are encouraged after the Cowboys beat the Sooners 48-to-46.
The 24th-ranked Cowboys won their 11th straight game and Victor Williams says beating OU gives them total confidence going into Saturday's game against 11th-ranked Missouri.
Williams scored the game-winning basket with less than four seconds to play as the shot clock ran out.
5th-ranked Oklahoma takes pride in knowing the Sooners nearly won in one of the toughest arenas in the country despite poor shooting by top scorers Hollis Price and Ebi Ere.
The Sooners were led by freshman Kevin Bookout with 14 points and eleven rebounds.
The two teams play again on February 19th in Norman.
