(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma's newest congressman wore his late father's watch and was surrounded by family as he was sworn in at the US Capital.
Republican Congressman Tom Cole says the experience is humbling and a huge responsibility.
Cole was elected in November to succeed retiring Congressman JC Watts in the state's Fourth Congressional District.
He says he also hopes to be assigned to the House Armed Services Committee on which Watts served. The district includes Tinker Air Force Base and Fort Sill.
