(Oklahoma City-AP) -- State education leaders are holding a summit to discuss the budget crisis.
Governor-elect Brad Henry plans to speak at the January 14th event, sponsored by the Oklahoma Education Coalition.
Funding to public schools has been cut by $158-million so far this year. Coalition chairwoman Carolyn Crowder says more than 100 school districts could go broke before the end of the school year if they don't get help.
She's invited all Oklahomans to attend the summit, which will be from 9 AM to 3:45 PM at the Clarion Meridian Hotel and Conference Center in Oklahoma City.
