The start of a new season brings talk of changes for the Tulsa Drillers. For 26 years the AA ball club has been partnered with the Texas Rangers. That contract expires in 2004.

General Manager Chuck Lamson says talks could begin as early as this summer over whether the Drillers will stay with the Rangers or joing another major league team. "We may be working with the Texas Rangers, we may be working with the St. Louis Cardinals, on what happens."

Lamson says any affiliation change will ultimatley be up to the Texas Rangers.
