STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Nebasett Brown's RBI-single in the seventh inning broke a 5-5 tie and Oklahoma State went on to beat Arkansas State 10-8 in college baseball on Tuesday.
Rob Watson advanced to second on a wild pitch and then scored on Brown's single. Another wild pitch later scored Ali Modami and the Cowboys (21-7) led 8-5.
Jose Virgil and Brown extended the lead with a pair of RBI-singles in the eighth to bring the score to 10-5.
Arkansas State (9-18) rallied in the ninth, scoring three runs with two outs before Daniel Rew struck out Justin Glenn with two runners on base.
Joe Weaver (3-1) picked up the victory for Oklahoma State, while John Anderson suffered the loss, his second in two games.
