EUFAULA, Okla. (AP) _ Two brothers are believed dead after a Friday house fire.

Eufaula Fire Chief Thomas Foresee said the bodies of two men were found in a bedroom just after dawn. Foresee said the blaze is Eufaula's first fire fatality in 12 years.

Police said the dead men were Lewis Henry ``Red Eagle'' McIntosh and Yahola McIntosh.

One of the victims was apparently trying to get out of the house when he succumbed to heat and smoke, firefighters said.
