A man wanted for questioning in a Creek County double homicide Thursday is in custody.
Oklahoma County authorities say Michael J Roberts turned himself in Friday afternoon. But he has not been arrested in connection with the murders of Earl Kirkwood and his common-law wife, Karen Strange. He was booked in Oklahoma County Jail for other charges, not related to this killing. They expect he will be in jail through the weekend.
Roberts, who is also known as ‘Michael the Outlaw,’ admits to knowing the victims, but says he hasn't been at their house this year. He also claims he's not a member of any motorcycle gang.
