A cement truck driver took a turn for the worst Saturday morning when he battled the law of gravity, and lost.

The driver was traveling West on the Broken Arrow expressway, turning onto the I-244 exit ramp, when he realized his cement drum wasn't rotating.

Police say he flipped the switch to restart the drum, but the shift of the weight toppled his truck - and made a big mess.

Greg Smith,Tulsa Police Department: "He noticed the drum quit turning and he restarted on the turn and that caused the load to move and it started to tip over"

The truck dumped more than 40,000 pounds of cement alongside the highway. The driver walked away from the accident with only a broken nose.
