Garrison Keillor visited Tulsa on Thursday. Keillor is best known for his radio show "A Prairie Home Companion."

He visited Tulsa as part of his town hall meeting series, speaking to a gathering at the Performing Arts Center.

Keillor was first scheduled to appear here last September, but had to cancel that show because of open heart surgery.

Garrison Keillor/Radio Personality: "I have been more scared walking through Central Park late at night than I was on the gurney going into the operating room."

Keillor has written eleven books - three for children.
