Oklahoma is back on Broadway! The movie Oklahoma! helped introduce our state to the nation back in 1955. Now the musical returns to the Big Apple today.

State leaders hope the re-opening will help boost Oklahoma's image.

Some officials are concerned the play's image will set the state back... while others say it's a wonderful opportunity to get the word out.

Ron Bussert/ Oklahoma Department of Commerce: "It's about Oklahoma and the opportunity for pioneers to be successful in a news land. It gives us an opportunity and venue to talk about the way Oklahoma is today."

Governor Keating and a host of other state officials will be in the audience tonight for the reopening.
