The Citizens Crime Commission honored Tulsa County's finest Thursday.
The Crime Commission raises money for the Crimestoppers, Alert Neighbors and Arrest Arson programs. The group selected Lloyd Hobbs as volunteer of the year, Chief David Hayes as firefighter of the year and Lee Butcher as reserve deputy of the year.
This year, two men won the prestigious award of Officer of the Year, Tulsa County deputy Marlin Warren and Retired Tulsa Police detective Charlie Folks. Folks was responsible for solving the 13-year-old murder case of Justin Wiles.
