A Tulsa man is in jail, following an overnight police chase that went for nearly 60-miles. The chase began in Tulsa early Thursday morning, but didn't end until the suspect got to Locust Grove.

It all started when an officer on his way home was passed by a driver going too fast. When the officer tried to pull the suspect over, he took off. Speeds at times reached more than 100 miles per hour.

Several agencies got involved then Chouteau Police were able to put an end to the chase. Tulsa Police Corporal Tom Ford, "Chouteau Police Department spiked his tires and he wasn't able to continue driving any further. He was eventually taken into custody after resisting arrest, drugs were found in the car."

Even when the chase was over, police say the suspect gave them problems. They had to break a window to get 19-year-old Brian Gay out of the car. Police had to put a hood over the suspect's head because of his unruly behavior.

Gay is in the Tulsa County Jail, and faces a variety of charges.
