(CHAMPAIGN, Ill.) - A doctor was arrested on suspicion of killing her 10-year-old son after the boy was found dead in the family's home. Another son, age 6, was injured.

Police Chief Jim Luecking said he could not comment on how the boys were hurt Thursday.

Adam Feinberg, 10, was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly after the attack, and Matthew Feinberg, 6, was in stable condition Thursday evening, police said.

Ellen Feinberg, 43, was taken to the county jail, Luecking said.

Neighbors described the Feinbergs as friendly, quiet members of an upscale neighborhood of Champaign, about 130 miles south of Chicago.

They said the mother is a pediatrician and the father, Samuel Feinberg, is a surgeon.

``They were normal, very nice, the last people you would ever think would have a tragedy like this,'' neighbor Alan Parker said. ``The kids do all the normal things kids do.''
