A two-alarm fire swept through The Willows apartment complex (1904 E 66th Place in Tulsa) at around 2:30am Tuesday morning.
High winds and bitter cold made fighting the fire a real challenge for the 75 firefighters who showed up to battle the blaze. One firefighter was taken to a local hospital after slipping on a patch of ice. The firefighter had no serious injuries and was treated and released.
At least 50 people are displaced from their homes after the entire 36 unit complex was decimated by the fire, smoke and water. There were no injuries to any of the residents.
