(College Station-AP) -- Texas is leaving little doubt of its control in Big 12 swimming.
The third-ranked Longhorns teams have yet to lose a swimming event in either women's or men's competition after two days in the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championships.
The meet's at Texas A-and-M University in College Station.
In 12 events on the second day of competition, Texas swimmers went one-two-three in seven events yesterday as they locked in on the conference title just midway through the meet.
Only three teams still have men's swimming and diving programs. Texas is in first place with 398-and-a-half points to Texas A-and-M's 205-and-a-half and Missouri's 170.
In women's competition, Texas leads with 355 points. Texas A-and-M is a distant second with 192. Iowa State is third with 139. Missouri has 126, Kansas 121 and Nebraska 67.
