TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Markius Barnes scored 27 points, including the game-winning 3-pointer with 5.4 seconds left, as Oral Roberts beat Valparaiso 77-74 on Saturday.
The Golden Eagles (15-12, 9-3 Mid-Continent) scored the last eight points of the game, erasing a 74-69 Valparaiso lead.
The loss snaps a nine-game winning streak for the Crusaders (20-5, 10-2) and postponed coach Homer Drew's 500th career victory.
Oral Roberts shot 56 percent in the second half and got 17 points and 12 rebounds from Reggie Borges.
Borges made a spinning, driving basket that tied the game at 74 with 43 seconds left.
Valparaiso had a chance to tie, but Milo Stovall's long 3-pointer missed as time expired.
Ratis Grafs scored 16 points to lead five Crusaders in double figures. Lubos Barton and Stalin Ortiz each had 14, Stovall 12 and Joaquim Gomes 11.
Tyrone Tiggs had 16 points, six assists and two blocked shots for Oral Roberts. Barnes had a season-high seven assists.
