The International House of Pancakes did something special Tuesday, in honor of national Pancake Day.

They gave away a free stack of pancakes at several of their local restaurants. They were asking customers to donate what they would've spent on the food to Feed the Children of Oklahoma. It's all part of IHOP's effort to get involved in the community.

Larry Hawker, IHOP Operations manager, "We decided to look at charities where the money donated locally would go back to the local charities and feed the children fit that bill and seemed worthy so that's why we chose them."

No word on how much money was raised or how many pancakes were given away.
